The arena lights dimmed, and a single spotlight hit the entrance ramp. "JOHN CENA-A-A-A!" The crowd erupted into a wall of dueling chants — "Let's go Cena! Cena sucks!" — as the Doctor of Thuganomics himself marched down, ignoring the noise, eyes locked on the strange white-haired man in a blindfold already waiting in the ring, arms crossed, smirking like he already knew how this ended. "You know," Gojo said, tilting his head, "I was told this was a 'tournament.' I assumed that meant a challenge." He tapped his blindfold. "I didn't even need to take this off for the last guy." Cena didn't respond with words — he hit the ropes and came back with a flying shoulder tackle. It should have connected. Instead, it slowed, impossibly, inches from Gojo's chest, like time itself had turned to syrup. Cena stumbled through empty air as Gojo casually stepped aside. "Infinity," Gojo explained cheerfully. "You're not slow, champ. Nothing reaches me. That's the whole trick." Undeterred — because "Never Give Up" isn't just a slogan, it's a religion for this man — Cena tried again. Second shoulder block, same result, sliding harmlessly past like he'd tried to tackle a hologram. The crowd gasped. Cena rolled his shoulders, grinning through the frustration. "Alright, blue eyes. New plan." He faked the shot, planted, and instead lunged low for a double-leg takedown — pure old-school amateur wrestling instinct, low enough that maybe, MAYBE, it could sneak beneath whatever barrier was stopping him. It didn't. Gojo's foot lifted a casual inch, and Cena's shoulder just... slid to a stop against nothing at all, like hitting a pane of glass that wasn't there. "Nice try," Gojo said, sounding almost impressed. "Most guys just keep running into it face-first." Cena backed up, chest heaving, and did the only thing a five-time, six-time, seven-time... you get it, world champion knows how to do when the fight isn't going his way: he adjusted, smiled, and looked dead into the camera. "You can't see me," he mouthed, waving his hand — and for one wild half-second, Gojo actually laughed out loud, delighted. "I like this guy," he said to no one. "But—" Blue bloomed to life in his palm, a small sphere of violet-black light. "—this is where the fun ends." The pull of negative space caught Cena mid-charge, yanking him off his feet and slamming him toward Gojo like a rag doll caught in a hurricane. Before Cena could even orient himself in the air, Gojo had already flicked two fingers, and Red discharged point blank — a concussive shockwave that sent Cena rocketing into the turnbuckle with bone-rattling force. The ring buckled. The crowd went dead silent, then absolutely feral. Cena, somehow, staggered back up. Blood, sweat, sheer will. "Five moves of doom" was a pipe dream now — he never got past move two. He charged one final time, roaring, reaching for an Attitude Adjustment that would never land. Gojo raised a hand almost apologetically. "Unlimited Void." Reality dissolved into a horizon of endless white and infinite cascading information, Cena's mind flooding instantly with more sensation than a human nervous system could process. He dropped where he stood, overwhelmed, out cold before he even hit the mat — Gojo catching him gently by the collar so he wouldn't concuss himself on the canvas. "Hey, respect for trying the takedown," Gojo said to the unconscious hustler, patting his shoulder. "Most people just give up instantly. You get bonus points for that." The referee's hand slapped the mat three times on a technical stoppage, and Gojo raised a hand to the stunned crowd, blindfold still perfectly in place. "Honestly? Never Give Up is a pretty good slogan," he mused, stepping over Cena's prone form. "Still lost though."
